Designer/Planner/Director
"Born in Niigata City in 1978, I graduated from Seian University of Art and Design in 2002, majoring in Living Environment Design. Following my art school education, I immersed myself in artistic pursuits, particularly in stage design, corporate branding, and event planning.
In 2016, I was invited by Mr. Imai Masato to participate in a carpet-making project in Morocco. This experience allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for Morocco, its people, and its rich culture. Collaborating with skilled weavers, master dyers, and other artisans preserving the ancestral art of carpet weaving was a privilege.
Having successfully introduced Moroccan carpets to a discerning Japanese audience appreciative of handcrafted art, I am excited to contribute further by expanding their reach to a broader international audience."
